About Midad Quran Institute
Midad teaches the Quran online, one-to-one, for children and adults in Bangladesh and in Bangla-speaking families around the world.
Why “Midad”
Midad is the Arabic word for the ink scholars used to write down knowledge. We chose it because learning the Quran is a patient, careful craft, passed from teacher to student one line at a time.
Many families who left Bangladesh, and many in Bangladesh with busy lives, struggle to find a local teacher at a time that works. Midad was set up to make that easy: a teacher who explains in Bangla, with English-medium teachers for children who need them, at a time that fits, with clear records so families can follow progress.
How we work
One teacher, one learner
All lessons are individual. The teacher can hear every word and correct it in the moment.
Records you can see
Attendance, lesson notes, Hifz revision and invoices are kept in a secure portal for learners, parents and teachers.
Teachers we have checked
We confirm each teacher’s recitation and teaching before they teach, and publish profiles only once details are verified.
Feedback we act on
Families can raise concerns with the admissions team at any time, and a teacher change can be requested.
Our teaching method
How we assess, plan, teach and review progress.
Our teachers
